Price Match – Policy
We are happy to match or better any price or quote you have received in writing from another Jeweller or store operating within Australia only. The price or quote must be current or at least within 3 months old and dated. The said jewellery must also be comparable in specification, design and material or same to the quote you are seeking us to match or better. This policy also applies to loose diamonds, semi precious stones, opals and pearls.
Lifetime Guarantee – Policy
All jewellery manufactured in our studio comes with a lifetime guarantee. Manufacturing faults are covered by this policy. Jewellery purchased from other suppliers as stock items are only supported by the other suppliers polices and warranty. We are not responsible for faulty jewellery purchased from these suppliers. In order to support our customers, we will be checking all purchased stock items from our supplier to avoid any disappointment, however we cannot guarantee these items. We will or course endeavor to resolve any issues for our customers.
Free Yearly Clean and Check
All our jewellery manufactured in house comes with a free clean and check every year, for its lifetime or as long a Me JEWELLERY is in operation. This is to ensure the best care is given, and also avoids any wear causing issues. We can only give the LIFETIME guarantee if the jewellery is presented for inspection and cleaned and checked by our Jeweller every year (unless other arrangements have been made and agreed upon). If there is any normal wear of materials and repairs are required to maintain your Jewellery’s longevity, the owner/customer must pay for these repairs. A quote will be given before work is commenced, however not following through with upkeep and maintenance on your jewellery will waive the Lifetime guarantee. For example: A diamond falling out because the claws were not checked and the tips had worn down making the diamond vulnerable to falling out, is neglecting the Jewellery.
Any neglect to the jewellery resulting in it requiring repair work more than general maintenance, will be quoted and the customer must pay for these repairs. For example: A ring worn whilst landscaping, gardening, lifting heavy things such a gym weights, and incurs heavy scratches is not classified as a manufacturing fault.
Money Back Guarantee – Policy
This applies to all our jeweller manufactured in our Studio. If the customer is not satisfied that ME Jewellery have supplied them with what they were wanting to purchase the jewellery may be returned and a full refund given. The policy does not cover Custom Designed jewellery, where the design process thoroughly ensures the customers needs before manufacturing is commenced. If the manufacturing is faulty, we will repair or replace the jewellery. Custom also includes the following: If a stock design is altered to a custom ring ie: Ring is resized to fit. Where gemstones are replaced and specific stones are sourced and ordered for the Jewellery by the customer. Where the precious metal type was ordered incorrectly by the customer or they change there mind after it is manufactured to size.
The customer must return the jewellery within 5 days of purchase to qualify for a refund. If the jewellery is for an engagement proposal and will not be within the 5 days, please inform us so we can note the date of expected proposal. A change of mind or unwanted gift does not qualify.
