LOOSE DIAMOND PURCHASES
All diamonds on our site are certified by trusted labs like GIA, IGI, HRD, AGS, and GCAL—never uncertified stones.
Natural or lab-grown, every diamond meets the same strict standards and is laser-inscribed with its certificate number.
Some images are samples only. Always check the certificate and video, or request the actual photo and video of your diamond. Email or call us to obtain any further information.
At ME Jewellery, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of every piece we create. Your satisfaction is important to us, and our refund and return policy complies fully with Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Under the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) guidelines, we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you simply change your mind.
However, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product has a major problem.
A product is considered to have a major problem when:
It has an issue that would have stopped someone from buying it if they’d known about it;
It has multiple minor issues that together would have stopped someone from buying it;
It is significantly different from the description or sample shown;
It is substantially unfit for its normal purpose and cannot easily be repaired within a reasonable time;
It doesn’t do what you specifically asked for and cannot be fixed within a reasonable time; or
It is unsafe.
For more information, you can visit the ACCC website.
All loose diamonds purchased via our website are carefully inspected and quality-checked at least twice by our qualified Gemmologist prior to dispatch.
Because of this strict verification process, it is highly unlikely that a loose diamond will differ in any significant way from its certification or description.
The only scenario where a refund or replacement may apply to a loose diamond is if it is found to be significantly different from the certified specifications (see item 3 above).
Please select your diamond(s) carefully, and don’t hesitate to contact us before purchase if you’d like to confirm whether your chosen diamond has a return option.
Many of our pieces — including engagement rings, wedding bands, and bespoke designs — are custom-made to order, crafted specifically to your size, metal preference, and gemstone selection.
Because each custom piece is individually created to your specifications, we’re unable to offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect choice, or variations in design once production has commenced.
However, your purchase remains fully protected under Australian Consumer Law.
This means that if your custom-made jewellery is found to have a major fault or defect due to the manufacturing process, we will repair, replace, or refund the item in accordance with our warranty terms.
Before finalising your order, we encourage you to:
Carefully review all design details and quotations provided by our jeweller;
Confirm your ring size and chosen materials;
Contact us if you have any questions or require clarification before production begins.
Every ME Jewellery piece is crafted with care and precision to ensure your complete satisfaction, and our goal is to create a piece you’ll cherish for a lifetime.
If you have any questions about your purchase or wish to discuss a possible return, please reach out to our friendly team before sending any item back.
